Learn the skills needed to get climbing independently at the Rock Wall. This 2 hour course will get you acquainted with the required equipment and skills for Top Rope Belaying and Climbing. You'll learn how to properly setup a climbing harness, belay device, how to tie in to climb, and how to manage rope for climbers (called belaying). You'll also learn common climbing terms and expectations for our facility. *2 person minimum, bring a friend! Any class with fewer than 2 participants will be cancelled. *Meet at the Rockwall 15 minutes early for check-in, dressed in comfortable, active clothing. *Register at the RW, ORC or Online prior to deadline *Classes limited to 6 participants to allow for plenty of practice.
