About this event
Join us for Engineers Without Borders UTSA's Project Meetings, where we dive deep into the technical development and next implementation phase of our solar-powered water well project in Biagnimi, Cameroon. These meetings are hands-on, collaborative, and focused on real engineering work that directly contributes to a life-changing humanitarian project.
Each session centers on advancing the next phase of implementation, including:
Pipe network design & layout
Solar panel configuration & electrical setup
Pump system integration
Water distribution planning
Technical documentation & engineering review
Project Meetings are an incredible opportunity for students across all engineering majors: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, and Environmenta l, to gain real-world experience in design, analysis, problem-solving\\ , and interdisciplinary teamwork. Whether you're new to engineering or already deep into your major, you'll get hands-on exposure to the kind of work professional engineers do every day!
Come collaborate with peers, contribute to a global-impact project, and build the skills that will carry you into your career. Together, we're engineering a sustainable future for the community of Biagnimi, one meeting at a time!
All Project Meetings will be streamed live on EWB's private Discord for active members. To become an active member, you must pay dues, after which you will be admitted into the EWB Discord server.
