Before the vote, Jones said she'd heard OCI is working with the Spurs and asked if conflicts could be disclosed. City Attorney Andy Segovia said his office is unaware of any conflicts that would disqualify the three, and a Spurs spokeswoman said the team is no longer under contract with OCI. Every other council member present voted down further discussion.
