About this event
The San Antonio Go Club is a community dedicated to playing, enjoying, and improving at the ancient strategy game of Go (aka Baduk or Weiqi). Whether you're brand new or an experienced player, you're welcome at the board!
We have a friendly mix of players ranging from double-digit kyu to 1 dan, and we’re always happy to help new players get started.
We meet regularly on Thursdays at Black Potion. Come discover one of the oldest and most beautiful games with us!
We stay organized on Discord: https://discord.gg/ustrrqPmPG . There is also a lot of free resources posted on our discord to help players of all levels learn. We also maintain Facebook and Baduk.club pages.
Lastly, our club is an official chapter of the American Go Association. Membership is not required to join the club, but is highly encouraged. You can join at https://www.usgo.org/ and use code NEWSATX for 50% off your first year, and joining gives you a variety of perks.
