Join us every Wednesday in the Lockwood Saloon for an intimate and engaging exploration of whiskey hosted by Michael Phillips, bar manager and creator of Maverick’s Whiskey Wednesdays program.

Each Wednesday takes on a different topic from the world of whiskey. One week might explore bourbon, rye, or the grains that shape flavor; another might dive into whiskey history, barrel aging, proof, sensory evaluation, or blending. Other evenings may venture behind the bar to explore classic whiskey cocktails, ice, glassware, technique, and the many ways we experience and enjoy whiskey.

Through guided tastings, discussion, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and unique sensory tools, Michael brings each week’s subject to life—with Maverick spirits providing plenty of opportunities to taste along the way.

The subject and experience change from week to week, so no two Whiskey Wednesdays are quite the same. Come once to learn something new. Come back to explore another corner of the whiskey world.

Whether you’re new to whiskey or a seasoned enthusiast, Whiskey Wednesdays is designed to deepen your knowledge, sharpen your palate, and give you new ways to appreciate what’s in your glass.

Seatings at 6pm and 7:30pm. Seating is limited to six persons and advance reservations are recommended. Walk-ins are welcome when space is available.
