A new PRIA LOCAL chapter will be launching in Arizona, beginning in Maricopa County, with our inaugural meeting set for Tuesday, November 10, 2026 .

Arizona is a strong place to start. Maricopa County is one of the largest and fastest-growing recording jurisdictions in the country. The local property records community—recording staff, title and escrow professionals, attorneys, lenders, surveyors, GIS staff, assessors, and technology providers—is ready for a shared forum. Our goal is for the chapter to bring government and business to the same table, consistent with PRIA’s founding mission, on the issues that matter most locally: deed fraud prevention, eRecording, standardized indexing, GIS and land records integration, cybersecurity, privacy and redaction, and the responsible use of AI and blockchain.

For the November 10 meeting, we plan to cover:

• An introduction to PRIA, its committees, and the benefits of membership

• Chapter name and structure, including co-chair roles shared between the public and private sectors

• A short discussion and inquiry as to local priorities to shape the chapter’s first-year agenda

• Announce alignment with AZ Proptech Collective, Silicon Oasis and the Arizona Commerce Authority.

• Next steps for recruiting members and scheduling a regular meeting cadence
