STORM Meetup Group – STORM Kids Ride
South Texas Off Road Mountain-Bikers (STORM) hosts this free monthly kid’s ride on the dirt trails at McAllister Park. This is a great opportunity for parents and children to get out on the dirt trails and see how fun mountain biking can be. Kids will learn basic trail skills and trail etiquette during this introduction to trail riding. Participants will meet in the field at the large parking lot near the McAllister Park Pump Track ( https://goo.gl/maps/dYmf2uTzXKHgf9p7A ), and the event will last from 9:00-11:30am.
What to bring:
Required:
– Bicycle
– Helmet
– Closed-toe shoes
Recommended:
– Sunglasses
– Gloves
– Water
– Sunscreen
This event is “weather permitting” to protect the trail system. Updates and cancellations will be posted on the STORM South Texas Off Road Mountain-Biker Facebook page and the STORM website events page (https://stormmtb.org/events-calendar).
Parents or accompanying adults must sign a liability waiver for themselves and their child before the ride and may accompany their child on the ride.
